Patti Henderson has received two Gemini Award nominations and has recently received her first Canadian Screen Award nomination for Achievement in Costume Design.
Patti began her career in Costumes in 1998 as a dresser to the stars such as Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe and Sam Neill. She then transitioned to an Assistant Costume Designer working on the notable projects "Winnie the Bear" starring Michael Fassbender and "Capote" starring Philip Seymour Hoffman.
In 2005, Patti started designing costumes for feature film and television projects. She has designed for many celebrities such as Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Malcolm McDowell, Rob Lowe, Anna Paquin, Maria Bello and Debi Mazur. Some of Patti's design projects have been with NBCUniversal, Twentieth Century Fox, The Hallmark Hall of Fame, CBC and Lifetime.
While Patti's design nominations are due to her expertise in period costuming, she also has a very strong sense for contemporary design. Patti has been the Wardrobe Head for the Winnipeg Comedy Festival since 2008. Her work also includes styling for awards shows, television commercials and photography shoots.
Patti has taken her passion for period wardrobe one step further and is the owner of the successful online vintage shop, Wildwoodrose Vintage. Follow her @wildwoodrosevintage
